Editing workshop-
( absent day 4&5) Day 6 of the academy included broadening my understanding of premiere pro in a masterclass with a professional and initially learning how to use after effects. This helped as I am the editor of the group and gave me more ideas as to how to edit my short film. Learning how to use a software I had never used before was challenging however was interesting and I hope to use it when editing.
We were editing the short clips filmed previously which included the 180 degree rule, This had to be done in the time frame of around 1 hr, and we used the music given.

( 30/11/18) Looking over the edit after practising with Premiere Pro has allowed me to reflect and realise other techniques I could have added, for example a fade in and out of the video along with muting background noise ( in Premiere Pro or Adobe Audition ) I also could have added some colour correction to overall make the video look more cinematic and experiment with editing. Therefore I have practised and viewed my arts challenge which has allowed me to reflect on this video.
Crucial aspects which I found useful included shortcuts learnt such as how to get rid of a gap when editing between a video. This helped as the time for editing the final video is limited. I also learnt how to use key frames and adjust these at certain times of the video to ensure the desired effect is at the right duration and time.
