On day 7 of the academy, our group went over and finalised everything for the filming on the upcoming week. This therefore made sure that our group were organised and kept equipt, along with knowing and being professional on the day. The group saw and recapped how to set up the Canon C100, and went over a few shots with any story lines to apply the understanding of the camera. Sound was also set up and made sure that things such as loose wires don’t affect the audio along with getting the setup so that the audio could be as clear as possible. As the editor, my work lies in post production, therefore meaning I will help in all areas, therefore was important I view also the setup and use of everything.
Our group meeting with our mentor, Bradley, meant we went over the shot list, along with the producer and director meeting the actors and casting. After this was a group decision on the characters to use to play the brothers within our script and on the locations we would be using and backups just in case. Our mentor also told us tips for filming and aspects to ensure we get the best possible footage.
